WEB Atlas is a 2024 American science fiction action film directed by Brad Peyton and written by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite. The film, set in a dystopian future, will premiere on Netflix on May 24.
The film follows the story of WEB Atlas Shepherd (Jennifer Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst who harbors a deep distrust of artificial intelligence. When an AI threatens to destroy humanity, Shepherd is forced to confront her prejudices and join a mission to capture the rogue entity.
Simu Liu (Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) has been cast in an undisclosed role alongside Lopez. The film also features Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) in the supporting cast.
